Development of New Hot Forming Process for High Strength Steel Tubes

چکیده

The widely adopted the high strength steel tube is an important way to solve lightweight body and collision safety. traditional pressure hydroforming hot gas forming through “expansion” deformation form hollow parts, internal driving force. There are some industrial difficulties such as heavy dependence on pressure, wall thickness thinning low production efficiency, which limits application of high-strength tubes. Based principle compression deformation, this paper develops hydro-forging process After blank heated austenitization, compressed deformed by die closing force a new structure. only plays supporting role, fundamentally avoids cracking under expansion mode, has advantages rapid time uniform quenching. Finally, A-pillar with 1500 MPa formed reasonable process.
